2024 Carlsbad 5000 Course

New Course, More Ocean Views, Same Iconic Carlsbad

We are bringing you a new and improved Carlsbad 5000 race course in 2024! After 37 legendary years, the World’s Fastest 5K is moving entirely on the Coast Highway. Runners will start at the intersection of Grand Ave & Carlsbad Blvd, then head southbound on Carlsbad Blvd. Runners turn around at the Tamarack Volleyball Courts, and return heading northbound on Carlsbad Blvd. Runners will finish under the iconic Carlsbad Sign just past the intersection of Carlsbad Village Dr & Carlsbad Blvd.
