All Day 20K Race Schedule

 

Sunday of Race Weekend, Date TBD

6:53a – Race 1: Masters Men 40 and over

7:55a – Race 2: Masters Women 40 and over

9:04a – Race 3: Men 39 and under

9:45a – Race 4: Women 39 and under*

Please plan to arrive to the start line of each of your races at least 5 minutes before the published start time as actual start times are subject to change on race day in coordination with the train schedule.

*Since there are only 45 minutes between the Men 39 and under and Women 39 and under races, All Day 20K participants will have the option of substituting their 4th race for the Party People race. All Day 20K finishers need to complete the first 3 races in the correct order and then have an option to choose between Race #4 and the Party People race.

Please be aware that the course crosses two sets of railroad tracks. The tracks are active during the event and our staff closely monitors the train schedule. For the safety of all event participants, spectators, and volunteers, races may be stopped, delayed, and are subject to change at any time (including race day).

Junior Carlsbad
ALL NEW! This brand new Junior Carlsbad course puts safety first by eliminating all train crossings and is designed to be a spectator-friendly route through the heart of Carlsbad Village. Parents rejoice with this easy to locate and easy to cheer along course for your tiny dashers!

Road Closures

Our team is actively working on our 2021 course and additional information regarding community impact and road closures will be shared here as plans are developed. Over the course of the event weekend road closures and no parking zones will be effect in and around Carlsbad Village.

Race Timing

Race timing will be provided using chip + bib technology which will automatically record participants’ times at the start and at the finish. Please note that in order to qualify for age group awards, participants must wear their race bib with the chip intact. Results will be available online soon after runners cross the finish line.

Age Group Awards – 5K

Age group awards will be presented to the top 3, male and female categories, for the 5K distance. Information regarding award distribution will be provided before race weekend. There are no additional age group awards for the All Day 20K.

Age groups are: 14 & Under | 15-19 | 20-24 | 25-29 | 30-34 | 35-39 | 40-44 | 45-49 | 50-54 | 55-59 | 60-64 | 65-69 | 70-74 | 75-79 | 80+

How do I earn an age division award?
Runners are eligible for age group awards if you place in the top 3, male or female, for your specific Age Group Division race. Runners must run in their Age/Gender Division race to earn an award in your category. (e.g., Male 27 years old is only eligible for awards in the Men 39 & Under race // Woman 53 years old is only eligible for awards in the Masters Women (40+) race)

Age Group Awards – Junior Carlsbad

Age group awards will be presented to the top 3, boy and girl categories, for the 1 Mile and 1/2 Mile distances. Junior Carlsbad age group awards must be picked up at the Awards tent located within the Health & Wellness Expo.
